The Klik en Tik course at Bibliotheek Hasselt on Dr. van de Vechtlaan 34 has two sessions left: Monday 5 October and Monday 12 October 2026, both from 10:00 to 12:00. It's one of several activities on the programme in Hasselt in the coming weeks, alongside an art history course and a cabaret performance.

The course teaches participants the basic functions of a computer: typing texts and filling in forms, searching the internet, shopping at online stores, emailing and keeping the computer in order. The course consists of six lessons, held on Mondays 7, 14, 21 and 28 September and 5 and 12 October 2026. There is room for a maximum of eight participants and taking part is free. Registration was possible until Friday 4 September, at the desk of Bibliotheek Hasselt or by phone on 038 4771716.
Bibliotheek Hasselt is also the venue for an art history course by Ben van Haaster, organised by cultural organisation SCAB Hasselt. This season's course is themed Meesterwerken (Masterpieces) and starts on Thursday 8 October 2026 at 20:30. Further sessions follow on 22 October, 5 November and 19 November. Participation costs €35, with SCAB friends paying €25. Registration is via scab-hasselt@hotmail.com.
On Saturday 17 October 2026, cabaret performer Piet van Eeghen will present a try-out of his new show 'De Lieve Vrede' at 20:00 at De Schakel in Hasselt. Tickets and further information are available on the SCAB Hasselt website.
